Omaur Bliss is a group fitness expert/trainer who created the wellness company, Bliss Full Fit LLC. Omaur’s original mission was to change the health and wellness behaviors of clients and to improve their lives. Due to his client needs and personal loss of family members, that mission morphed into a calling to advocate for populations who don’t have access to proper preventative health measures. Omaur is a certified instructor in the following: Core Power and Hot yoga, Real Ryder spin, NASM personal trainer.

Jody Ollyver DeSmidt | DeSmidt Rabuse PLLC Jody DeSmidt is a partner in the Minneapolis law firm of DeSmidt Rabuse PLLC. Jody earned her JD degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1982. Jody devotes her practice to family law, adoption, juvenile law, assisted reproductive technology law (ARTs) and appeals in those areas. Jody has been a fellow of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys since 1992 and the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys since 2009. She has been repeatedly designated as a Super Lawyer.

Chris Baker is a Legal Administrative Assistant at Maslon LLP. Chris has previously worked for both Integreon and Lindquist & Vennum. Chris has been in the legal arena for over 13 years. While with Integreon, Chris was the lead trainer for Adobe. Chris also traveled to Mumbai, India, where he trained a team of associates on new account procedures and processes, focusing to improve their Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills Chris is a current member of the NALS Twin Cities Chapter and a former Chapter Historian.

Mike Flom is a principal at Gray Plant Mooty, where he practices in the areas of real estate and commercial litigation, ethics and professional responsibility. Mike serves as Gray Plant Mooty’s internal compliance officer and as the firm’s general counsel. This session will cover ethical standards and procedures to ensure all non-attorney staff employees are knowledgeable and capable of handling the ethical challenges we face daily in the law firm environment. Topics such as policies and procedures, dealing with confidentiality, conflicts, and professional liability will be addressed.

Paid registrants who cancel at least five business days before the seminar will result in a full refund less a $15.00 administrative fee. With fewer than two business days’ notice, the full registration amount will be forfeited. Registration is transferable to a substitute participant should a scheduling conflict arise.
